Do I need to pay for getting Employment Network of SW Florida's services?No, if you are referred by the Ticket to Work Program or Vocational Rehabilitation, your services will be covered. If you are not part of these programs but are still interested, feel free to contact us, and we can discuss how we can help you.

What is the Ticket to Work Program?The Ticket to Work Program is a free and voluntary program from the Social Security Administration designed to help people with disabilities find meaningful employment while advising you how to use the benefit working centers. It connects you with service providers, like Employment Networks, who offer career counseling, job placement, and support throughout your employment journey

Who qualifies for the Ticket to Work Program?Individuals between the ages of 18 and 64 who receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits are eligible to participate in the Ticket to Work Program

Will I lose my disability benefits if I start working?Not necessarily. The Ticket to Work Program has built-in protections and Social Security has work incentives that may assist you to become financially independent. You may not lose your benefits immediately when you start working.

How does Employment Network of SW Florida support me in finding a job?We provide personalized support, including career counseling, job readiness, job placement services, and benefits advisement to guide you in your employment journey.

How long can I receive services through Employment Network of SW Florida?As long as you are making timely progress for the Ticket to Work Program, we can provide ongoing support, until you graduate from the program.

Can I participate in the Ticket to Work Program if I already have a job?Yes! If you are working but still receiving Social Security cash benefits, you can participate in the program to access long-term employment support and benefits advisement.

What is Vocational Rehabilitation, and how does it differ from Ticket to Work?Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a state-run program that helps people with disabilities gain employment through training and other services. While VR offers similar services to Ticket to Work, they primarily focus on individuals who may need more hands-on assistance before entering the workforce. After completing VR services, you may still qualify for additional long-term support through the Ticket to Work Program.
